What makes me a super mom is without a doubt no mom in my family has walked in my shoes. I’ve learned a lot on my own & that how it’s been.
We would like to thank you for supporting Kayty Inthirath in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.
The most rewarding part about being a mom is knowing that my little boy depends on me. I am at the end of the day his whole world. I’ve learned how to take care of him in ways I didn’t even know I could do. With his health issues it’s a lot of day by day learning. Even though it’s me and him 24/7 with little to no help , it makes my heart soar till this day when I get hugs and kisses from my sweet baby.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?The biggest lesson is to never ever be afraid to ask your village for help. I was in the pits of PPD. Feeling like no one would understand or even care to learn about my son’s illness. I felt the weight of the world. Until a small trip to visit family I than realized we all need help. We all need to trust our family to help when needed. Especially if they offer multiple times.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000 I would clear my debt. Than take my son & I on a family trip. Somewhere we can explore together with all of his favorite things. I would than put the rest into a savings account that grows yearly so he can have a nice college fund when he graduates high school.
