What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

I love watching my son grow and learn new things every day. That spark he gets in his eye when he discovers something new is something I will never get tired of. It's hard to see him get bigger, but seeing him become his own person is something I can't even put into words.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Learning to let things happen even if it wasn't what I expected is the biggest lessons I've learned from motherhood. It was difficult in the beginning of my motherhood journey to discover that I can't control everything when it came to my son. Sharing custody of my newborn was never something I imagined or ever planned for.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would use the money to help fund the purchase of a home for my son and I. The funds would help us to have more security as we embark on our new path with owning a home of our own. I also appreciate the tremendous help I have received along the way, so I'd hope to also use some of the money to give back to charities that help single mothers.
