What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?I adopted both of my children internationally, which has taught me that motherhood comes to everyone in all aspects and ways. Motherhood is a wonderful privilege, however it finds you. I have learned through this very privilege, all about trauma parenting. Meeting my sons just where they need me, rather than in my own expectations based off age or social norms. Learning to love through their brokenness and respect the stories they had before I became their mom, has been an amazing experience.
What would you do with $20,000?I would put it towards adopting another child. It’s so expensive to adopt, but the journey and love that these children who wait for families and homes of their own, bring into our lives, is absolutely priceless.
