After struggling with infertility and being successful with IUI, seeing the smile on my son’s face makes the years of the emotional rollercoaster and tears all worth it. I enjoy watching him observe his surrounds and smiling at those he loves. His smile and laugh in the morning is always a great start to the day. Even after a long and stressful day at work, he reminds me why I am working to support him and build a better life for my little family. I am truly blessed!
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Patience. Learning to be a new mom while supporting my police officer husband and still showing love to our protective dog, can be challenging. Becoming a new mom has taught me to slow down and enjoy the small moments and snuggles, no matter where we all are. It’s okay to not get everything done in one day, there is always tomorrow!
What would you do with $20,000?The money would greatly support and fund our house addition we plan to start this year. As a working mom, I need a private home office (not shared with our guest room) and another bathroom for our son and guests. The addition would be beneficial in the hopes we are able to grow our family!
