Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Raising my children to grow up and be kind humans and reminding them the world that can be so cruel and each person maybe going through one of the hardest parts of their lives. We need to be kind and listen when someone is speaking or not speaking. Reminding them that actions speak louder than words and character shows when no one is watching.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

That life is unpredictable. We may never understand why we go through the things we do. But each thing we go through is a lesson and may help someone else. Losing my dad has been hard. So it’s really made me take a step back and look at life as a bigger picture. A bigger opportunity to be better and help others

What would you do with $20,000?

To be honest I have no idea. It would help give some stability to my family. Maybe get ahead a bit. Life has definitely thrown us some curve balls. My husband was recently diagnosed with Bipolar 1. So we’ve been adjusting to that and we also take care of my mother who was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and while she is still here with us it’s hard to grieve someone while they are alive. We see little pieces of her disappearing daily.
