What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is the love God places in your heart for your child. It’s found in the little moments that become the biggest memories,the hugs, hearing “Mama,” and watching them grow. Knowing you are their safe place and privilege of guiding them in His love, brings a deep sense of purpose and joy. There is truly no love like a mother’s. And as a childcare director, I’m grateful to pour that same care and guidance into the lives of so many children, as well as my own.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood has taught me patience, grace, and how deeply I rely on God. My mom always said that in the hard times, you are earning your badge of motherhood. I’ve found that to be true. You learn to be their advocate, voice, and safe place. That became real when my oldest was diagnosed with juvenile arthritis, requiring weekly shots. It stretched me to stand strong, ask questions, and fight for my girls needs, loving them through every season.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would use the $20,000 reward as a down payment toward a generational home. A place where my family can grow, feel secure, and build lasting memories together. I want it to be more than just a house but a place for stability, love, and a legacy for my parents and future generations.
