The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching my kids apply the lessons I’m teaching them. Seeing them grow, persevere, and figure out the world around them with the tools I’m providing them is SO rewarding. Our kids are only kids for a short time and knowing that they are growing into people who will be able to handle what life throws at them with grace and a positive attitude makes all the hard work worth it.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?The biggest lesson that motherhood has taught me is that we’re never done learning! My kids and motherhood have taught me more about life, joy, grief, and perseverance than any other endeavor I’ve experienced yet.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000 I would start savings accounts for my children and their college funds. As a single mom it’s difficult to build a substantial savings account, but $20,000 would give me (and them!) the head start for their future educations!
