Kari Siegrist

I always put my family first. My health took a turn, I was off my feet for almost a year my kids/husband amazed me how they took care of me!

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Watching your kids become these kind, compassionate and quite funny humans. You pour your heart and soul into these tiny little humans for so long. You second guess every decision you make and you spend so much time wishing you did things different and then one day you see them do something selfless for someone else all on their own and you finally stop thinking about all the things you wish you could do differently and instead just feel this sense of pride you’ve never felt before

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

That you have to give in to spontaneous joy. Raising children is the hardest thing you’ll ever do. You with feel the highest joy and the saddest lows but they will always look at you with pure trust and love that nothing in this world could ever come close to.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would use it to make some upgrades to our house. We have a 1920’s farmhouse and there’s just always something that we would love to upgrade to make more homey
