Being able to watch my children grow up and to raise my beautiful daughter and amazing son into God loving, honest, respectful, responsible, caring, smart, funny, human beings! Being military kids is hard, so being able to be home with them, be their support system and the “constant or stability” in their ever changing lives has meant so incredibly much. The most rewarding part has been watching all the love, support and guidance that has been poured into them show as they grow up and develop.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?I always envisioned myself as a “by the book”, rules are rules, check the box, planner ran, soccer mom! The biggest lesson learned is from the moment I had my children that all went out the window. Protector, teacher of life’s lessons and God, stylist, nurse, chef, maid (lol), their biggest cheerleader, defender, you name it I became it! Motherhood has no set of instructions or a book, be the mom YOUR kids need, and NEVER try or compare yourself to other moms.
