Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part is getting to be here with them. After my daughter’s traumatic brain injury and a 2% chance of survival, everything shifted. The small moments feel big. The laughter feels louder. Watching my girls grow into who they are, strong, resilient, and fully themselves, is something I don’t take for granted. I didn’t just raise them through life… we walked through something that changed us, and we came out stronger together.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood taught me that strength and softness can exist in the same breath. As a single mom, I’ve had to carry a lot, build a life, run a business, and still be a safe place for my girls. Walking through my daughter’s TBI showed me how quickly life can change, but also how powerful we are when we refuse to give up. You don’t wait to become strong. You become it when life asks you to.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would pour it into the life I’ve been building for my girls. As a single mom, I’ve kept my business running through some of the hardest moments, including my daughter’s traumatic brain injury. I would use it to strengthen that foundation, pay down debt, and grow something that continues to support us long-term. It’s not just about money, it’s about creating stability, freedom, and a future that feels secure and expansive.
