What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Knowing that I'm unconditionally loved by my daughter. We spoil each other with affections and what fun times we can manage together. I never had a relationship with my mom unfortunately, but that gave me every reason to make sure I had one with my daughter. When we need an ear to bend, or a bit of a tighter hug, we're there for each other as much as possible.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

That not everything is perfect. I'm not perfect and neither is she. That it's ok to make mistakes, that's how we grow and learn. She also taught me how to properly love myself. I was 18 and The day she was born and she was handed to me, I just sobbed that horrible ugly cry. My grandmother asked me why I was so upset. I wasn't, I was so full of joy I couldn't contain it, because right then I knew that there's no way I could love her without being able to love me, because she is half of me.

What would you do with $20,000?

I'd be able to rent an apartment so we can get back to a more simple life, than this hectic one that's kept us apart for a time. She's been living with her dad while I've been taking care of some responsibilities regarding her step dad. She misses him and I dearly, and wants nothing more than to have us all together again happily, back to the way it was.
