What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is adaptability. No two days are the same, and plans quickly become suggestions. I’ve learned to switch roles in seconds - nurse, negotiator, chef, referee - often all before breakfast. Flexibility isn’t optional in motherhood; it’s essential.
What would you do with $20,000?As a two-time TEDx speaker working with youth, I help teens and young adults “end the war within” by uncovering two overlooked causes of low self-esteem. If I won $20,000, I would expand these workshops so more young people can access them. Real change starts when inner struggles are met early with the right tools. This is more than funding a program - it’s scaling a preventative approach to youth mental well-being so every young person feels seen, capable, and enough.
