Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part is watching my kids become who they are meant to be. I get a front row seat to their growth; their kindness, courage, and resilience. The little moments mean the most: cheering from the sidelines, bedtime talks, and seeing them try again after something hard. Being their safe place while they learn to be brave in the world is the greatest honor of my life. In the midst of the chaos, raising good humans is the most important work I’ll ever do.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood has taught me that showing up matters more than being perfect. Love lives in the everyday moments, patience on hard days, encouragement when they doubt themselves, and showing up even when I’m exhausted. Raising four kids while working in healthcare and finishing NP school has taught me resilience and purpose. More than anything, I hope my children grow up knowing that hard work, kindness, and perseverance can carry them anywhere.

What would you do with $20,000?

a mom of four working in healthcare and finishing NP school, $20,000 would truly change things for our family. I would use it to help pay down debt while I keep chasing my dream of becoming a nurse practitioner and showing my kids that hard work matters. And I would finally take them to Disney World; something they’ve always dreamed about. Seeing their faces experience that magic together would mean everything to me.
