Being able to be their mother, I got told I wasn’t going to have kids because of the cyst on my ovaries but God blessed me to have both my kids. I didn’t have a mother growing up, So to be their mother is a blessing in itself. And watching them grow up in their own personality well that’s another blessing, I cherish.🦖🦄🤍✝️

Motherhood has taught me that love isn’t just a feeling, it’s something you show every single day, even when life is hard and I feel overwhelmed. I show up, because they are my reasons to be strong. Even when I lost my daughter, I still remained strong for them. The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that my children don’t need a perfect mom they need a present one. One that shows up everyday. A mom they can count on. I’ve learned to slow down, and appreciate the small things a little more everyday.

If I were blessed with $20,000, I wouldn’t just see money I’d see opportunity, healing, and a future I’ve been fighting for. I would go back to school to build a better, more stable life for my children. I would make sure my son gets the eye surgery he needs, because every child deserves to see the world clearly. What’s left would be invested into my kids’ education and used to support other single parents like me reminding them they’re not alone, and that it’s okay to ask for help. 🤍✨
