Receive Text UpdatesWatching 3 girls turn into strong, beautiful, genuine, resilient and kind women. Everything that life has thrown at them they’ve handled with grace. They’ve never let themselves accept failure. I also get to be a temporary mom to 40 teenage boys who need a little extra support. Watching all of them learn to love themselves is so rewarding.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Biggest lesson is to love and respect myself and others and lead by example. I’ve always taught my girls the most important thing is to be kind. Being beautiful on the inside only increases the beauty on the outside. I’ve learned that confidence in ourselves makes anything possible. Having structure and consistency has given my girls a safe place to be themselves and be okay making mistakes. It’s all about the recovery and what we do after the mistakes. Strength is in the struggle.
What would you do with $20,000?Well considering I’ve got 2 girls graduating and one getting married that $$ would help out so much. Being a single mom in this time is hard. Things are expensive. I would use it to create a little more freedom and security.
