I love seeing my kids be able to advocate for themselves to be treated the way they deserve. When I see them learn a new skill and they say they are proud of themselves because they seek self validation instead of the validation of others. I love seeing how kind they are to others and I’m full of hope they will both be better than me.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Not every child is the same, I have two children and they are complete opposites. It’s important to love each individual the way they need to be loved, that I too have things to work on so I apologize often and do as much learning as I can to be a better mom, and I treat my children like they are people who form their own thoughts and opinions.
What would you do with $20,000?I am a single mom that works and homeschools my kids. I would like to use it toward my living expenses but also for homeschool resources and field trips. Or possibly for going back to school to become an art therapist for DV survivors.
