I think being able to be a part of all of their accomplishments on the day to day basis is the most rewarding. From watching my 13 year old win first in district for pole vault to simply hearing about good behavior in school, it all plays a big part in who they will be in the future and is also very rewarding for a parent.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?I think the biggest lesson for me has been that it is okay to ask for help. As a mom, it sometimes feels like the burden is heavy and it sometimes can feel almost like a fail on my part when I ask for help. It is important to remember that asking for help is actually more of a strength.
What would you do with $20,000?I would definitely pay off my car and debts first and foremost. My oldest turned 16 in December and we will be working towards getting her license this summer. I’d Love to put some money towards a car for her also. I also love the idea of a trip they would remember forever. We only have so many summers with our kids while they are young!
