The most rewarding part of being a mom… for me, it’s the way my kids give my life a deeper meaning than anything else ever has. No matter how hard things get, they remind me why I keep going. It’s in the little moments—when they come to me for comfort, when they laugh at something silly, when they feel safe just being close to me. Knowing that I’m their safe place, their home, is everything. Watching them grow into their own people is honestly the most beautiful thing.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is that I’m stronger than I ever thought I was. I’ve learned how to keep going even when I’m exhausted, overwhelmed, or hurting. There are days I don’t feel like I have anything left—but I still show up, because my kids need me. And somehow, I always find a way. It’s also taught me that I can’t control everything—and that’s okay. I’ve had to let go of perfection, expectations, and the idea that I have to have it all figured out.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I had $20,000, the first thing I’d do is make sure me and my kids are secure. I’d take care of any bills or debt stressing me out and put some aside so I’m not living in survival mode all the time. And honestly, I’d want to do something small but meaningful for my kids too—give them an experience or something they’ve been wanting, just to see them happy. For me, it wouldn’t be about spending. It would be about building a life where I can finally breathe a little easier.
