Honestly, it’s the little moments that feel the biggest- the way she looks at me like I’m her whole world or settles just because I’m holding her. Watching her grow is incredible, but what surprises me most is how much I’ve grown too. It’s exhausting at times, but it’s the most meaningful thing I’ve ever done.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood has taught me that I don’t need to be perfect to be exactly what my child needs. It’s helped me trust my instincts, be more patient, and let go of expectations. Some days are hard, but showing up with love is enough. It’s also shown me a deeper kind of love—one that’s humbling, powerful, and has changed how I see myself and what truly matters.

What would you do with $20,000?

I’d use it to create a bit more breathing room for our family- cover essentials, set aside savings for my child’s future, and invest in support that helps me be more present, like childcare. I’d also carve out a small portion to celebrate this chapter and give back in a meaningful way. It would make a real difference in both our day-to-day life and our long-term stability.
