For me the most rewarding part is breaking cycles and seeing it pay off with my son. I was a foster child until the age of 13. Seeing him feel safe and being able to just play and be a kid and to be able to have his milestones celebrated has been something that has made me feel more fulfilled that I could’ve ever imagined.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?The biggest lesson that motherhood has taught me is that it never stops and in the best way possible. Your patience level grows and I never thought I could have the ability to love this tiny little human so insanely much. In certain moments it feels overwhelming but then a week later they’re even bigger and you wish you could go back to the previous week and it’s taught me to slow down and embrace the overwhelming feelings.
What would you do with $20,000?If I got 20,000 dollars I would start by paying off some of my medical bills because I have recently had some seizure activity and we’ve been trying to navigate that and then I would also have a wedding since my husband and I got married on zoom while he was deployed and we also just found out I’m pregnant with baby number 2!
