Watching my daughters face their own challenges with courage and come out the other side. Seeing their unique identities forming, the people they’re becoming. And the moments of real connection, when everything slows down and we’re just fully present with each other. Those moments remind me why all of it matters.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?You can’t do it all or be it all for your children and trying to will hollow you out. The most important thing I’ve learned is that my own happiness and mental health are not luxuries. They’re the foundation my daughters stand on. Choosing myself, even when it feels selfish, is one of the most loving things I can do for them.
What would you do with $20,000?Put it toward a down payment on a home for me and my girls. A place that’s ours, that feels stable and safe and like a fresh start. After everything we’ve navigated together, having a home we can truly settle into would mean everything.
