The most rewarding part is seeing my children thrive. Truly, nothing brings me greater joy than seeing my two kids find joy, find happiness, find success. I also love seeing their resilience. We have been faced with challenges, and they each have taken those challenges, learned from them, and now move forward with a great deal of empathy. I'm just really proud of them.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?The biggest lesson I've learned is how wonderfully different my kids are. Each has their strengths, challenges, and quirks, but they are both tremendous kids. I have always said to them that they are both bright lights. They bring joy to those around them. It's not to say that they're always happy or there is always joy, but they have learned to lead with empathy, and if they can bring joy to someone else, they do.
What would you do with $20,000?It's a pretty short and sweet answer. We have one child starting college next year, so we would use this money to support paying for his education.
