Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

As a homeschool mom, there are many rewarding moments when I see my kids make progress in their personal goals. I also feel blessings in being their safe space, giving them the opportunity to be themselves, grow emotionally, and provide them with proper boundaries that I wasn’t always given as a child. I’m here to break the cycle of my family patterns and my kids are here for it too.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood has taught me patience, determination, and everlasting love. I always thought my story had to be like the one my parents tried writing for me, and would then be put on repeat for when I became a mother. However, I wrote my own story and am continually reminded that I can do better than what was shown to me. The key ingredients are patience, determination, and love. I grow in these things daily.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I was awarded $20k, I would invest some of it into my business so my family could continue running our family passion project that helps our community and then the rest would go towards my kids education. My oldest will be a senior and my youngest is starting 8th grade so continued education is right around the corner.
