Watching my children succeed and grow into compassionate and kind humans. They are only 11 and 9, but already they show so much care and kindness to others. They work hard in school and make good grades. They're confident and capable, and that is my reward!
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood has taught me to go with the flow and let people be who they are. I used to worry and obsess over the smallest things. Being a mom has helped me see the bigger picture, focus on the present, and be optimistic. My children have very different personalities and supporting them in figuring out their interests, goals, and desires helps me meet others where they are.
What would you do with $20,000?While I'd love to take my family on a dream vacation, if I'm truly honest, I think I'd use the money to buy a new(er) home. We currently live in an older home that needs some work and is a bit small for a family of 4. Working with only 1 bathroom is challenging at times. I've been wanting to move for awhile, but it's just not in the budget right now, especially since I'm basically the only 1 with steady income. A new home, for sure!
