Jessica Russo

I’m not a super mom—I’m a real one. I show up daily, trust God, love hard, and build a life for my family.

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Watching my daughters become who they’re meant to be—strong, kind, and grounded in faith—is the greatest reward. I’ve loved watching them grow, and growing with them, through every stage and building deeper relationships along the way. Motherhood has humbled me and made me better—kinder, less judgmental, and more grateful. It’s stretched me in every way, and I’m thankful for all of it.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood has taught me to let go—of control, perfection, and what I thought things were supposed to look like. The beauty is in the imperfection, where everyone feels safe to be who they are. It’s also given me a glimpse of God’s love—full of grace, mercy, and forgiveness. I’ve learned how powerful it is to love unconditionally, believe in someone, and remind them they’re never alone.

What would you do with $20,000?

I was laid off this year and stepped into building a real estate business, so this would provide stability—helping cover bills and reduce debt while I grow something long-term. It would also support my daughters, with one in college and another entering her senior year. This wouldn’t just help us get by—it would give us room to move forward with faith, focus, and a clear path ahead.
