Being a mom to six children and a grandma to one beautiful grandchild isn’t just a title—it’s a superpower.
We would like to thank you for supporting Jessica Mumford Garrison in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.
Watching my children grow into their own unique people and knowing I helped shape their confidence, kindness, and strength. The hugs, the “I love you’s,” and even the hard days remind me that I’m building something lasting—little humans who feel safe, loved, and capable because of me.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood has taught me patience, resilience, and that I’m stronger than I ever imagined. It showed me that perfection isn’t the goal—being present, loving, and consistent is. I’ve learned to give grace, not just to my kids, but to myself too
What would you do with $20,000?I would invest it into growing my daycare to create an even better space for children to learn, feel safe, and thrive; adding resources, educational materials, and improvements that support families in my community. I’d also set aside some to create lasting memories with my children, because time together means everything.
