watching these three little humans I somehow helped create turn into their own people. One minute they’re asking you to wipe their nose, the next they’re explaining “67” to you like you’re 97 years old. It’s chaotic, loud, and someone is always touching me or asking for snacks, but there’s nothing better than those random hugs, the weird little things they say, and realizing these tiny people think you’re basically the center of their universe. Also… when they all go to sleep at the same time!
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?It’s taught me to slow down, to breathe, and to really notice the little things because they go by so fast. Being a mom makes you aware of your own mortality in a strange way… but also in a really beautiful one. Like watching a butterfly — you realize life keeps unfolding, changing, and somehow getting more meaningful all at once.
What would you do with $20,000?We live in NJ, the winters can be harsh and leave us all pent up for months I’d love to get a 4-season swim/spa pool so we all don’t turn into bridge trolls by February!
