Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Seeing my boys grow into their personalities, the way they laugh and play, how silly they can be. I love watching them play baseball, and I love when they find new things they enjoy. My favorite are the small moments though. The love they have for each other, and when they are in the mood to snuggle with me. It goes so fast, so I try my hardest to cherish the smallest moments above all.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Patience is a huge one, however, I am nowhere near mastering that. I was never taught how to handle my emotions, especially the big ones, when I was little, so trying to teach them has been difficult, but we are learning together. I was recently told by many that I need to be kinder to myself as a mom and as a person. I am struggling with that, but trying to learn how to do that as well. I think that will help my boys to grow to be more confident, positive and nicer to themselves as well

What would you do with $20,000?

There are many things I would love to do with the money. Put some of it towards the boys college fund is one. I would also like to put it toward a down payment on a new SUV. I definitely wouldn’t mind a good massage and facial. But to be honest, it will most likely go towards my mortgage. Making sure we always have a place to call home.
