Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Being a part of my son’s life, getting to see his ahaha moments while teaching him, teaching him to be independent . To help him follow his passions in life . But encouraging him to learn about new things and to step out his comfort zone to always be willing to learn. I’m thankful that I’m blessed to homeschool him or I would have missed som many moments of firsts with him. Also being blessed in having 2 bonus daughters getting to be a part of their lives watching them grow up.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Patience, with myself and with him. That our emotions whether it’s anger, anxiety, frustration failure. Each of these emotions are OK in their own manner. It’s my job as a mom to show him. Motherhood has also helped me to grow because how can I ask him to step out of his comfort zone if I’m unable to step out of mine. It has also helped me to learn new things aka woodworking, I don’t want him to ever be stuck in thinking he can only do one thing or learn one trade. Be willing to learn and grow

What would you do with $20,000?

Build a pool and deck space where we can all hang out as a family . Where my 2 bonus daughters 6 grandkids that I’ve helped raise since the girls were 6 and 4 that’s almost like the beginning chapter of motherhood for me and they were 20 and 18 when we got pregnant with our son (we quit trying) 😂 we love spending time together.
