My son is a teenager, and a junior in high school- he is so smart and loving and kind and funny. And truthfully seeing him happy and healthy and living his life is what does it for me. To me this almost man that stands before me was once my little, silly, sweet boy and it makes me smile. It’s a wonder to watch them grow and become their own person. I just love all the phases and it doesn’t hurt when someone says wow momma you did a great job! Him being happy and able to come to me for anything.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?It has taught me that as our children learn and grow- they’re doing it all for the first time- so slow down and live it and enjoy it and feel it all with them. Also be patient with the tantrums, the frustration and the mistakes- because this is what it takes to learn all about life.
What would you do with $20,000?I would get my son a car, take him on a vacation and fix our home. My son will be getting his license this year and would love nothing more than for him to be able to get a car. We love to vacation together. Making new memories and experiencing new things together has really strengthened our bond. And well home ownership isn’t easy!!!
