The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching my boys transform from dependent babies into independent young men. It warms my heart to see the influence I have had on their lives and theirs on mine.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?The biggest lesson has been to love unconditionally. A lecture only goes so far. Really listening to my kids and their feelings, opinions, and ideas is important. Maintaining healthy communication is vital. I'll always cherish the late night talks with my oldest about his day, week, life.
What would you do with $20,000?I would most definitely use the $20k to go on 2 mission trips - one to honor my late mother and celebrate my 50th birthday and the other to experience with my boys in Guatemala.
