The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching my daughter grow into a strong, confident young woman. As a single mom since she was 5, every sacrifice, lesson, and moment of love helped shape who she is today. Seeing her head off to college, ready to chase her dreams, reminds me that every challenge we faced was worth it.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?The biggest lesson motherhood taught me is that strength isn’t something you have, it’s something you build for someone you love. I became a mom at 20, rebuilt my life at 25 as a single mother, and kept going through every challenge for my daughter. Now she’s leaving off to colleg, thriving beyond my own past, and I’ve learned that every sacrifice was shaping both of our futures.
What would you do with $20,000?I would use the $20,000 to support my daughter as she begins college, easing the burden I’ve carried as a single mom. This journey wasn’t easy, but it was worth it. Being able to invest in her future now would feel like everything we’ve worked for coming full circle.
