The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching your children evolve from irrational little toddlers to curious and vivacious elementary schoolers. I get a front row seat to how their character develops and have a direct influence on that (at least initially). When people on the outside comment on how sweet and wonderful my children are, I quite literally could float on the clouds. I am so proud of who they are becomming.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?The biggest lesson for me was that I don't have the control over them, or my life, that I think I do! I started this motherhood journey thinking I could control it all - the food, the clothes, the sleep. My first born wouldn't sleep until he was 5, and despite all my efforts to feed him gourmet snacks, he loves processed junk just like the rest of us! My 2 girls also live with reckless abandon and certainly keep me on my toes.
What would you do with $20,000?I could use this money to fix our family bathroom. With 3 kids, we need all the bathrooms we can get!
