What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part for me has been seeing who my kids grew up to be. After raising nine of them, I can look at each one and see the little pieces of what I poured into them—the values, the lessons, the love. Watching them become their own people, build their lives, and still carry those things with them means everything to me. And seeing them have each other… that’s something special. Knowing they grew up with a built-in support system, and that bond is still there.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

The biggest lesson motherhood taught me is that I am stronger than I ever thought I was. There were so many moments where I didn’t feel like I had anything left in me, but I kept going anyway. I learned how to show up, even when I was tired, overwhelmed, or unsure. I learned how to give love, patience, and care over and over again, even on the hard days. Motherhood showed me how to be resilient, how to adjust, and how to trust myself.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I won $20,000, I wouldn’t see it as a big windfall—I’d see it as a chance to take some pressure off and do something smart with it. First, I’d take care of anything that’s been weighing on me—bills, needs, or things I’ve been putting off. Then I’d make sure some of it goes toward my kids and grandchildren, whether that’s helping them out, giving them a little something. I’d also put some away, because as a mom of nine, I’ve learned that being prepared matters.
