The most rewarding part is knowing that long after the days feel long and the nights feel short, what you gave them your love, your patience, your presence becomes part of who they are. There’s nothing more powerful than that. It’s watching a piece of your heart grow outside your body and slowly become their own person—forming opinions, showing kindness, learning resilience. And somewhere in all of that, you see reflections of the love you’ve poured into them.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood taught me that the example I set for my daughter will shape what she believes she deserves, strives for, and settles for in life. It pushes me to keep growing, healing, and becoming better every day. I want her to see strength, self-worth, resilience, and love in me so she learns to never settle for less than she deserves.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would use it to finally get myself out of debt and take one more meaningful step toward buying my daughter and I a home of our own — a place filled with peace, stability, love, and beautiful memories we’ll cherish forever. Having a home for us would mean more than just four walls; it would be a fresh start, a safe place for my daughter to grow, and somewhere we can truly build our future together.
