Watching my kids become who they are—bit by bit—is the most rewarding part. The way they learn, love, and see the world feels like magic and I get a front-row seat. It’s in the small moments: a hug, a laugh, a spark of curiosit, the moment something clicks and they understand something new. Even on hard days — the ones where I’m so tired I fall asleep standing up — that deep, unconditional love makes it all matter. And also, a cup of coffee in silence.

Motherhood has taught me that control is a myth and tiny humans are the real CEOs. You can plan everything and still lose to a snack meltdown. It’s humbled me, stretched me, and made me way more flexible (emotionally, not physically). Mostly, it’s taught me to show up, laugh when I can, and roll with it. And also, enjoy any cup of coffee that isn’t cold.

I’d take a breath first—then do the responsible part: pay down a bill, save a little. After that, I’d use the rest to just live a bit more with my family—take a trip, slow down, say yes to a fun treat, and make some memories. Nothing extravagant, just more time together and a little less stress. Also, I’d buy a coffee warmer.
