Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is being able to watch your child grow, reach milestones, become their own person with their own personality and being able to sit back and see the world through their eyes. Having people come up to me and say, "is that your boy? he is a fine young man." or just watching him wave to me or smile when he sees me in the crowd. A hug or an "I love you," hits different when its your child. Nothing will ever be more rewarding than being a mom.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood teaches one many lessons, for me one of them would be unconditional love and sacrifice. I will always put my sons needs before my own, making sure I can provide for him as a sigle parent. Being able to make holidays, birthdays and vacations as a blended family and treating his step-sisters as if they were my own. Going through a divorce while he was young I never wanted it to affect the realationship between either parent and always strived to have a healthy coparenting relationship.

What would you do with $20,000?

IVF is expensive, I have a lot of loans I am still paying on and would love to be able to pay those off. My ex-husband just signed off on the embryos we have together which is my final shot at being able to have another child, so I would be able to pay for a transfer. As a single mom I would be able to also put money in a college fund for my son.
