The most rewarding part of being a Mom is all the memories. Just being there for it all, seeing them grow into their own person! Watching and helping their dreams come true. Being able to step in and love a child back to life when their whole world has crumbled to pieces!
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is there not a one size fits all to being a mom…each child is different and each child has their own needs. You are not going to always get it right but keep showing up and keep trying! We have 14 children, age range 2yrs to 31 yrs. Two are special needs. We fostered over 120 children and adopted 9! Every child has taught me something!
What would you do with $20,000?I would like to think I would splurge and do something for myself, but I would probably want to help pay off my daughters’ student loans,or buy my husband who sacrifices endlessly for us all a newer truck. As a mom that is how it goes, that is just how my mind works, what can I do to lighten their load. I do not even know what I would want or need other than a good gas mileage car to drive back and forth to Birmingham for Doctor appointments for 4 of our children. Maybe take the grands to Disney
