What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Watching my daughter discover who she is. Every milestone,every hard moment, every time she tries something scary and does it anyway, I get a front row seat to her becoming. But what surprises me most is who she has made me. Motherhood has pushed me to be braver, more intentional, and more present than I ever thought possible. She doesn’t just need me, she inspires me. Knowing that my love, my strength, and the life I’m building are shaping how she sees herself and what she believes she deserves

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood taught me that taking care of yourself is not selfish — it’s essential. For a long time I believed being a good mom meant putting myself last. But my daughter doesn’t need a depleted version of me. She needs to see a woman who sets boundaries, pursues her dreams, and chooses herself too. The greatest gift I can give her isn’t perfection — it’s a model of what a whole, fulfilled woman looks like. She is always watching, and that has changed everything.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would invest every dollar into bringing The Whole Mama Space to life — a wellness community built specifically for moms. My dream is a physical studio where mothers can move, breathe, connect, and feel whole again. This prize would bring that vision closer to reality and allow me to reach more moms who need community and support. Investing in this space is investing in families.
