The most rewarding part of being a Mom is witnessing the lessons you have taught your children, being put into practice. Whether it is table manners, being kind to others, helping out around the house or just being a good human. It shows that you yourself have been raised to be a good person and you want your children to go out into the world to do the same. My hope is that these values, will be passed down to their children and these small contributions will make the world a better place.

Motherhood taught me that there’s no single “right” way to do things—every experience is unique. Raising my twins brought its own challenges, and I learned to trust what worked best for me and my babies. It also taught me flexibility and acceptance of what I can’t control. Despite the difficult moments, I see motherhood as a true blessing and I don’t take any of it for granted.

If I were to be awarded the $20,000, I would invest a portion of it to go towards my children's post secondary education. I would like to use some of the money for trips or experiences that we could share as a family. I think it's important to make memories instead of buying material items. Last year I was a surrogate and I made another woman a Mother for the first time. I would also make a donation to a local Surrogacy agency that would help more women experience motherhood for themselves.
