I feel like a super mom raising my son Tyson, who was diagnosed at just three months old with epilepsy, cerebral palsy, PKU, ADHD, and a speech delay. Every challenge we’ve faced has taught me something deeper about patience, strength, and unconditional love. Those experiences shaped my path into becoming a nurse for special needs individuals , & now I’m honored to serve& support families in the community who walk a similar journey.I find joy in advocating for parents who are where I once was.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Being a special needs mom has taught me that strength isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about showing up with love, patience, and resilience every single day. It's the most transparent love that is so humbling.
What would you do with $20,000?If I had $20,000, I would give Tyson and our family a vacation built around everything that brings him joy—where he feels safe, comfortable, and completely free to just be happy. I’d soak in every smile, every laugh, and every moment together. And with the same love, I’d start a trust for him, so no matter what life brings, he will always be protected, cared for, and surrounded by the security he deserves.
