We would like to thank you for supporting Jeanie Williams in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Bradley was a gift from God. Before he was born, I miscarried twice and was told I would never be able to have a baby. A year later our son was born. At 18 months old he was diagnosed with autism. Although at first we were perplexed, as the years went by, therapy after therapy, I learned to see the world through his eyes. Bradley is now 24 years old, and he fought to overcome every fear he choose to challenge. He’s an Eagle Scout, a high school graduate and one the the kindest person I know

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood is tuff, and you’re going to have times where you feel like no matter what you do it still isn’t enough. Sometimes you feel all alone, but you’re not. Talk about it, cry about it, pray about it, then pick yourself back up and show your kid/kids that you’re going to overcome that obstacle too. Show love always and always be there for them when they need you and when they don’t. Kids need there parents to be there.

What would you do with $20,000?

I put my job on hold for 18 years, to make sure our son had everything he needs to succeed in life, including years of therapy. I gave up things I needed to make sure he had the things he needed. In 2020 I went back to work during the pandemic to help keep our family afloat financially. Today we are just getting by. I drive a 2012 equinox that is barely holding together, has almost 300k miles on it. With the money I would purchase a reliable vehicle, pay bills and buy groceries.
