Being a mom can sometimes feel like a thankless job, so the moments when my teenage kids still come looking for hugs, kisses, comfort, and love from me fills my heart and give me energy. Watching them make good, mature choices reminds me that maybe I’ve done a decent job raising kind, good humans after all. 🤍
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?You cannot control everything. You guide, protect, teach, and pray… but eventually you have to trust what you poured into them. Raising good humans matters more than raising impressive humans. Character, kindness, integrity, and empathy become bigger wins than achievements alone.
What would you do with $20,000?First, I’d give God His portion. 🙏🏽 Then I’d invest into what matters most to me — my children. I’d help pay for my son’s college tuition and support my daughter’s competitive cheer season and tuition. And somewhere in between all the pouring out, I’d finally take a little time for some much-needed self care too.
