Jazzmine Brown

I’m a strong single mom to my 6-year-old and 8-month-old—their safe place, protector, and biggest cheerleader every single day. 💛

We would like to thank you for supporting Jazzmine Brown in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

watching them grow into their own little people. Every day, I get to see them learn something new, hear their laughter fill the room, and witness the pure joy in their eyes. There’s nothing like that sparkle—the twinkle that shows their innocence, their curiosity, and their happiness. It reminds me that even on the hardest days, I’m building something beautiful. Being their mom is my greatest purpose, and those small, everyday moments mean everything to me.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is patience and unconditional love. It’s shown me how strong I truly am, even on the hardest days. My kids remind me to slow down, enjoy the little moments, and just be present. I’ve learned I don’t have to be perfect—just loving, consistent, and there for them.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I had $20,000, I would invest in my children’s education to give them a strong foundation for their future. I’d also improve our daily life by making sure we have reliable care and a safe, comfortable home. Most importantly, I would create lasting memories—taking family trips to Disney World and the Wisconsin Dells, enjoying time together, and giving my kids experiences they’ll never forget.
