Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is when you see the love, time, effort and lessons that you pour into your children being poured back out of them towards others. It is also so rewarding to feel like you have someone in your corner for life who thinks you are the best person in the whole world despite your flaws and mistakes. A hug from my children can reset my entire mindset and day for the better.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

The biggest lesson I’ve been taught through motherhood is to give the same amount of grace and mercy to my children that I, myself need to be given every day. Children are so incredibly forgiving and resilient. They have taught me to practice what I preach, they have taught me how to love without conditions, and they have reminded me that having child like faith is what I am called to do in tremendously hard seasons.

What would you do with $20,000?

In 2024 I started a new product launch that required a lot of time and dedication to be put towards advertisement and promoting after the initial start up cost. I unfortunately was not able to give this venture my full effort due to helping care for my mom and my grandmother during that year, which left me and my family in debt. With $20,000 I would feel like I could breathe again and become financially free from the debt that now hangs over my head as a reminder of the worst year of my life.
