What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

When you hear “Mom” spoken with so much love and respect, and you feel the hug they give before bedtime. When they sense your struggle and don’t say a word, yet make you feel you’re right there with them. My oldest says, “Mom, I’m still little to work.” I reply, “No, it’s not your fault, and not your problem—parents’ responsibility.” But as I’m alone, I need more understanding and cooperation from both of you. As a single mom all I want is see both have each other back and enjoy each other.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

The most important lesson is that, despite every challenge, God entrusted us with these children to train and shape them into the men He calls them to be. It is not an easy assignment, but if we understand why He entrusted us with life, it is because He places His trust in us. Remind yourself that you are not perfect and continually seek God’s guidance, for only He can provide true direction. We looked for the positive not the negative about the kids. What would you do with $20,000?

I want to visit my family in the Philippines because there grandmother is now 86 years old, and I’m unsure how I can afford plane tickets for three people. I can barely afford to live here. I am also desperate to see my disabled brother; his request every holiday is to see us before he goes. He has expressed this wish, and I would like to honor it if possible.
