What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is the privilege to love each of my children. We may have come to be be mother and child by birth, by adoption or by fostering but the love we share is the same either way. I have been truly blessed by each of my children. Through all lives moments, the humorous, the difficult , the fun, the adventurous, the sad, you name it, the love carries us through. Knowing God trusted me to be your momma, sharing in all your moments is the most rewarding gift of All.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is resiliency. I started motherhood as a teenager. Despite the judgments. Left an abusive relationship, became a single mom. Went to school and worked to better our life. Later married my partner and continued growing our family. Had a child, later began fosting. We fostered over 40 kids in our decades of fostering. Then pursued adoption twice. Our family is big, loud, funny and full of love. Resiliency has gotten us all to where we are today.

What would you do with $20,000?

WOW, $20,000. The things I could do! I have focused on my children for 36 years, living and hustling to family life and working. I have never been on a vacation and would love to do this with my husband. Something fun and possibly romantic, Nothing huge but definitely well deserved I think. The rest I will put in my retirement savings. I Hope to retire someday and spend more time with grandchildren. Thank you for considering me as Supermom.
