The most rewarding part of being a mother is knowing the love I waited so long for finally found me. After 13 years of infertility, my daughter is my miracle. As a single mom for 10 years, she has been my greatest purpose. Watching her grow, hearing her laugh, and being the one she calls Mom reminds me she was worth every prayer, every tear, and every moment of waiting. She isn’t just my daughter, she is my heart and my greatest joy.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

The biggest lesson I’ve learned from being her mom is that she isn’t just here for me to teach, she’s here to teach me. After waiting 13 years for her and raising her as a single mom, she’s shown me patience, resilience, and how to love more deeply than I ever thought possible. Through her eyes, I’ve learned to slow down, find joy in the simple moments, and trust that some of life’s greatest blessings arrive in their own perfect time. She didn’t just make me a mother… she made me better.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I were given $20,000, I would use it to create more stability and opportunity for my daughter and me as a single working mom. I’d pay down bills, build a small safety net, and invest in things that improve our future. A portion would go toward helping others, whether supporting someone in need or giving quietly where I can. I’d want it to not only bless our lives, but also be a way to pass kindness forward and show my daughter the importance of lifting others along the way.
