I love watching my kids learn and grow and find joy in new things. There’s something incredibly rewarding about seeing the world through their eyes and being part of those little discoveries. And even when it’s hard, when they struggle or I have to make tough decisions, it’s still rewarding, because those are the moments that really shape them. And now I’m blessed to see that same joy all over again as I watch some of my children with their own kids.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is that every day is something new—whether it’s a new joy or a new struggle. Motherhood has taught me that the hard days and the trials don’t last forever, they pass and turn into something new. This has really helped me to get through those times. It has taught me patience, flexibility, and to trust the process, knowing that each season is short and has a purpose.
What would you do with $20,000?This is honestly a hard question. A dream vacation would be amazing. With a family our size, we’ve never been able to take a true, long getaway together. We’ve made great memories with camping and short trips, but nothing like that. At the same time, we really could use a new vehicle that fits all 11 of us, with wheelchair access. And since welcoming in my husband’s disabled brothers, we’ve really outgrown our home and this money could help us expand and that would really change our daily lives.
