Having the opportunity to be a role model for my kids is the most rewarding part of mothering for me. Demonstrating that they can do anything they set their minds to and showing them that vulnerability is strength, you can trust it.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?I’ve learned that through hard work and determination you can break generational cycles and model your best version of motherhood for your children. My mother struggled with addiction and sadly passed away in 2020. She witnessed me getting sober in 2016 and was so proud of my choices—she always made sure I knew that. I always carry her with me. In many ways, she taught me everything I needed to know about becoming a mother and I dream big for the both of us.
What would you do with $20,000?I would donate the full amount to the Release Recovery Foundation in my mother’s name. It would provide scholarships for treatment to individuals who otherwise couldn’t afford care.
